The location shines, providing easy access to local attractions and a pleasant 20-minute walk to a nearby university. Valet service was exemplary, and the remodeled gym was a plus. However, the dining options were limited, requiring meals to be sought outside. Additionally, the quality of service varied, with some staff providing less helpful responses than expected. Room issues included receiving feather bedding despite requests for non-feather alternatives.

The Renaissance in Austin has some great features. The staff greeted me warmly at check-in. I appreciated being allowed to check in early after my long flight. The room felt spacious, with a comfy bed and plenty of natural light. I loved the modern decor and the cleanliness of the area. The location is fantastic, close to many attractions and dining options. The breakfast buffet impressed me, especially with its variety, including fresh fruit and tasty pastries. I enjoyed the pool area. it was sunny and had a lovely atmosphere. However, there were some drawbacks. The noise from the ongoing renovations made it hard to relax at times, especially during the day. The parking fees surprised me, as I expected something more reasonable for hotel guests.
